In this course, you'll explore the stories, politics, history, battles, speeches and myths of ancient Rome through its rich literary tradition. The voices of famous Romans, including Julius Caesar, Vergil, and Ovid will speak to you from the past. Along the way, you'll learn more advanced grammar concepts and vocabulary and apply your skills to translation practice, writing, listening, and conversation exercises. Get ready to bring new life to Roman poetry and prose written thousands of years ago!
