Geometry is everywhere! Engineers use geometry to build highways and bridges. Artists use geometry to create perspective in their paintings, and mapmakers help travelers find things using the points located on a geometric grid. Throughout this course, you will travel a mathematical highway illuminated by spatial relationships, reasoning, connections, and problem-solving.Please note that this is a Credit Recovery course. Credit Recovery courses are not NCAA approved and should not be used by student athletes attempting to recover credits.Module One: Geometry Foundations
-Perform geometric constructions
-Write logic statements
-Write proofs regarding lines and angles
Module Two: Transformations and Congruence
-Perform and represent translations, reflections, and rotations
-Prove that two figures are congruent
-Write proofs about triangles and quadrilaterals
Module Three: Dilations and Similarity
-Perform and represent dilations
-Prove that two figures are similar
