High School Chemistry I

Suggested Prerequisites

Algebra 1

Description

Watch things change and become something new! In this course, you will study matter and energy, and their interactions in chemical and physical changes. You will use scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills to explore the composition, properties, and changes of matter and their applications through interactive simulations, engineering solutions, and virtual and hands-on experiences. In addition, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts are integrated throughout the course. Through phenomenon-based learning, you will be able to demonstrate a vast understanding of the importance of chemistry in the world and apply these principles to your everyday life and in your global society.
