The course is designed to enhance problem-solving skills and build confidence in math, ensuring that you are well-prepared for more advanced math courses. By highlighting algebra's everyday relevance, it establishes a strong foundation for further mathematical studies.Please note that this is a Credit Recovery course. Credit Recovery courses are not NCAA approved and should not be used by student athletes attempting to recover credits.

Module One: Algebra Basics

-Simplify algebraic expressions

-Solve one-variable algebraic equations

-Solve one-variable algebraic inequalities

-Solve absolute value equations


Module Two: Linear Functions

-Evaluate functions

-Graph linear functions

-Write equations of linear functions

-Identify key features of linear functions


Module Three: Exponential Functions

-Use the properties of exponents

-Calculate simple and compound interest

-Create exponential equations to model real-world situations

-Graph exponential functions


Module Four: Statistics

-Analyze and interpret data

-Calculate and interpret joint and marginal frequencies

-Develop a scatter plot and a line of best fit
